Terms of Service

1. Who we are
These Terms govern your use of startposting (the "Service"), a web application that turns a product photo into a ready-to-publish social post (a restyled image plus captions), available at startposting.app.
The Service is operated by AD NETWORK SCREENS, a company registered in Tunisia under registration number 1801733/X, with its registered office at A20, IM PACHA CT BL A ET5, Montplaisir 1073, Tunis, Tunisia ("startposting", "we", "us"). You can reach us at support@startposting.app.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. One person or business per account unless your plan explicitly allows managing multiple brands.
3. What the Service does
You upload a product photo, choose a preset ("vibe"), and the Service uses AI (see §7) to generate a restyled image and matching captions. Outputs are provided for you to download and publish yourself; the Service does not publish to social platforms on your behalf.
4. Your content and the rights you give us
You keep ownership of the photos you upload and, to the extent permitted by law, of the outputs you generate. We don't claim ownership of your brand, products, or posts.
To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transform your uploads and outputs solely to provide the Service to you (for example, sending your photo to our AI provider to generate a result, and storing the result so you can download it). This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for backups held for a limited period and anything we must keep by law.
You promise that you own or have the rights to every photo you upload, and that your uploads and your use of the outputs don't infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. You are responsible for checking that an output is cleared for your commercial use (see §7).
5. Acceptable use
Your use must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: nothing illegal, infringing, deceptive, or abusive, and no attempts to bypass credit limits, rate limits, or security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
6. Plans, credits, billing & refunds
- Credits. Usage is metered in "posts" (credits). Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance; one-time credit packs are also available. Credits do not expire while your account is in good standing.
- Free trial. New accounts receive 3 free posts, once, with no card required.
- Payments via Paddle. Our payments and checkout are handled by Paddle as our Merchant of Record. When you buy a subscription or credit pack, Paddle is the seller of record, handles billing and applicable taxes, and Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to that transaction.
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. Annual plans are billed once per year.
- Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Posts you already created remain yours.
- Refunds. We offer a full refund within 14 days of a charge if you have used no more than 3 credits from that purchase in the period. Email support@startposting.app and we'll process it. Beyond that threshold, the digital content has been delivered and consumed, and refunds are at our discretion. Where you have mandatory statutory withdrawal rights under your local consumer law, those rights apply regardless of this paragraph.
7. AI-generated content
Images and captions are produced by AI and are subject to our AI Content Disclosure. AI output can contain errors, artefacts, or text that isn't spelled or rendered correctly, and is not guaranteed to be accurate, unique, or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing every output before you publish or use it commercially — including checking trademarks, logos, and any depiction of people. We describe what the AI reliably does, not a best-case ceiling.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — the software, the preset catalogue, the brand, and the site — belongs to us. These Terms don't give you any right to copy, resell, or build a competing service from our Service, or to scrape or reverse-engineer it.
9. Availability & changes
We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll post the updated version and update the "Last updated" date; continued use means you accept the change.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that outputs will meet your expectations or be fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including, where applicable, your statutory consumer rights.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover us for claims arising from content you upload or publish, or from your breach of these Terms — for example, a claim that a photo you uploaded infringed someone's rights.
12. Termination
You can close your account anytime. We can suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) do.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
