AI Content Disclosure

Last updated: 25 July 2026

The short version

startposting uses artificial intelligence to generate your images and captions. The restyled product images are created by an AI image model (Google Gemini), and the captions, headlines, and hashtags are written by an AI text model. What you get is machine-generated — designed to look great and save you hours, but it is not a photograph and not human-written copy, and you should treat it that way.

What this means for you

  • Review before you publish. AI can get details wrong — a misspelled word, an odd reflection, a label that isn't quite right. We build guardrails (for example, the system omits on-image text it can't render cleanly rather than showing it broken), but you are the final check.
  • We describe the reliable floor, not the lucky ceiling. We tell you what the tool dependably does. We won't claim it produces flawless, one-of-a-kind, or guaranteed-original results, because no AI can honestly promise that.
  • Rights and likeness are your responsibility. Some presets can place people or brand-like elements in a scene. Before you use an output commercially, make sure it doesn't misuse a real person's likeness, a trademark, or a logo you don't have rights to. When in doubt, don't publish it.
  • Don't use it to deceive. Outputs are stylised marketing visuals. Don't present them as unedited documentary photos of a product in a way that would mislead a buyer (for example, implying a feature the real product doesn't have).
  • Your inputs. Only upload photos you have the right to use. Your uploaded photo is sent to our AI provider to create your result; see our Privacy Policy for how that's handled.

Why we disclose this

We think you deserve to know how your posts are made, and buyers deserve honesty about AI-generated marketing. Being upfront about what the AI is — and isn't — is part of how we earn trust.
