Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026 · Effective: 26 July 2026
This page sets out how refunds and cancellations work. It restates, in one place, the billing terms in section 6 of our Terms of Service — those Terms govern, and this page is written to match them exactly.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your billing page inside the app. No email, no form, no retention call.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Posts you have already created remain yours. Cancelling does not delete your work.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. Annual plans are billed once per year.
2. Refunds
We offer a full refund within 14 days of a charge, provided you have used no more than 3 credits from that purchase in the period.
To request one, email support@startposting.app from the address on your account and tell us which charge you mean. You do not need to give a reason.
Beyond that threshold — more than 14 days, or more than 3 credits used — the digital content has been delivered and consumed, and refunds are at our discretion. We will still read your email and we will still reply.
Why a credit threshold: every post you generate costs us real money at the moment you generate it. The 3-credit allowance exists so you can verify the product genuinely works for your photos before the window closes, without the refund route becoming a way to take the output for free.
3. Your statutory rights come first
Where you have mandatory statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights under your local consumer law, those rights apply regardless of anything above. Nothing on this page limits them.
4. Credits do not expire
Credits from a subscription allowance or a one-time credit pack do not expire while your account is in good standing. They accumulate. Cancelling a subscription does not void credits you have already been granted.
5. Who processes the payment
Our checkout and payments are handled by Paddle as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your transaction, handles billing and any applicable taxes, and Paddle's own buyer terms also apply.
Practically, this means an approved refund is issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. How quickly it appears on your statement is set by your bank or card issuer, not by us.
You may also see Paddle rather than startposting on your bank statement.
6. Questions or a disputed charge
Email support@startposting.app. If something has gone wrong on our side, we would much rather fix it or refund it than have you file a chargeback — a chargeback costs us more and gets you your money more slowly.
